How to get Great Ideas
Whenever I am thinking about a re-model, or just a new paint job, I love to look at ideas, and pictures that others have tried. In my business of Property Management in Orange County Ca. And since all my clients know that I am not only a Real Estate Broker, but also a Licensed contractor they come to me with questions when they are thinking about doing some work on either their investment property, or their primary residence. I let them know that a great source for ideas is a web site www.houzz.com
It would be great to have the time to walk through all the new model homes and see the new ideas that are out there, but unfortunately, time is at a premium and that is just not possible. When you go on the Houzz web site, you will be treated to thousands of Pictures and ideas of whatever room or landscape that you want to see. For example, you can search "Kitchen" and you will be treated to every type of kitchen re-model that you can think of. This web site is a must for anyone thinking about doing work on their home. Just be warned, once you start to browse the pictures, it can be very addictive.
Another great web site that I have mentioned before is www.behr.com. You can view paint colors and they have an interactive area where you can create rooms and use different colors to see how they match. In fact the other day I was at Home Depot and I wanted to get some paint that I used last year. I could not remember the name of the color, so I used my phone and searched my account at Behr.com and found what color I used. Great tool. But again very addictive.
