Tomorrow is full of
promise
There is a commercial on TV that has a very simple theme, “TOMORROW”.
The purpose of the commercial is moving the economy forward on a CSX train www.ispot.tv/ad/7bez/csx-tomorrow.
The part of the commercial that
caught my eye is when a man gets into a cab and the driver asks “BIG DAY” and
with a look of promise on his face he responds “Tomorrow will be bigger”
Just think how great tomorrow is, no matter what happens
today, tomorrow is full of promise.
In my business of Property Management in Orange County Ca, I
often have to deal with people who run into problems in their lives. I wish I
could play them the commercial and get them to look forward to tomorrow. Think
about what make us anxious in our lives, much of the time it’s about loss of hope.
What this commercial portrays is how tomorrow can be filled with all kinds of
promise. We don’t know what tomorrow will bring. Today may be the worst day
ever, but when the sun comes up the next day, everything could change and the
most important aspect of making tomorrow better is believing that you can.
People make millions of dollars writing books on motivation.
You can hear speaker after speaker on how you can be a better you. Sometimes it’s
good to hear these ideas and it can get you motivated. When I first started in
the Real Estate business, there was no training in my office on how to build a
solid business, so I went to a seminar on Real Estate and it turned out to be a
motivational session. I learned quite a bit from that seminar, the biggest
lesson was not to hang out in the Real Estate office. All the people who hang
out in the office are selling very little, and it’s very easy to hang around and
commiserate with the other sad sack Realtors that had no hope about what tomorrow will bring.
Think about tomorrow as your motivation, not your excuse. It
is very easy to use tomorrow to put things off, but that is not the promise of
tomorrow. Use tomorrow as your security blanket, because whatever is ailing you
today, tomorrow can cure.
Every time I see this commercial I get motivated in my business
of Property Management in Orange County California and in my effort to grow the
business. Today I may not get a call, but tomorrow brings great promise.
