The first thing in the
morning
So often people seem to
lose the most important part of the day, because they have trouble
getting started, but this is due to bad habits and that can be changed.
The first thing in the
morning can be the best and most crucial part of the day. You are rested and
your brain is ready to get warmed up. In my opinion, if you can get your
workout done as soon as you get up in the morning then you will have a great
chance at a productive day. Getting your blood pumping is key to a good start.
If you get up in the
morning early enough and have your cup of coffee and then get into your
workout, you will be amazed how great you will feel as you proceed through the rest
of the day. Getting the workout out of the way and using the energy boost that
you will get from working up a good sweat is an enormous boost to your
functions.
So many people feel that
to get a good workout, they need a gym membership. But that is not necessarily
true, in fact you will get a more focused workout if you do it on your own,
or have a single workout partner. I have found in my business of Property Management in Orange County Ca. the more simple things are the better. I have my own equipment; it is old free
weights and an elliptical. I get a great workout every day and I do it on my
own. I could never go into a gym anymore like I used to. I used the gym as a
social club, yes I used to get a good work out, but it took me quite a bit longer
because when I was working out in the gym, I was also working my gums. Using the
gym as a social club is not a bad thing, but if time is an issue, working out
in your own home is a much better choice.
If you think you need a
lot of equipment to get a good work out, you would be wrong. I can get a great
workout with 3 chairs and my legs and arms. I do like using the elliptical,
because it is easier than going out and running, but if an elliptical is not
possible and you don’t want to run, get a jump rope, or put on some music and
dance. There are great ways to work out and they will not cost you a cent.

I want to be energized by a good
workout and if I miss the workout in the morning, I will do it late at late
night, but that can create problems when you want to get to sleep,
because working out gets your blood and energy up and that’s why an early
morning workout is best.
If you can get in the
habit of getting up early and getting your workout in, you will be amazed at
how productive you will become.
It will take you some time to get used to this
new schedule, usually it takes a couple of weeks to get your body and mind used
to anything new, but once you start this new habit, you will become addicted to
it, and this addiction is a good one and will be with you for a very long time.
I talk to a lot of people who spend a fortune on equipment and gym memberships
and after a few workouts they quit. Gyms would go broke if everyone who signed
up actually used the gym, they know that the majority of the people who sigh
up will rarely use the facility.
So don’t join a gym unless
you are looking for a date, you can become a workout warrior and spend very
little or even no money, just use your god given equipment and as the
commercial tells us, “Just do it” and you will feel great and you will have a
much more successful and happy life.
