Deflate gate is back
I have seen some really stupid things that catch the media’s
eye, but this is ridiculous, Whether Tom Brady had the ball deflated to a size
that he feels comfortable, is just silly and people talk about it like it is
something that is really important. It’s not, in fact, it’s not even a real
story, and it is a creation of sports reporters who try to make a name for themselves.
I really think that people who report on sports are not
really reporters; they just look for things to get people riled up. Athletes
are entertainers and that’s all they are, to try and get people to care about a
deflated ball is not what good reporting is. I don’t care about Tom Brady, all
I know is he is the best quarterback in the NFL and has been for many years, I
am sure that if the ball was inflated to the proper weight, he still would be
the best. This type of reporting is just for the people who are fans or are
associated with team he has beaten over the years.
If you look at the game that all this stems from, in the
second half, the balls were changed to make sure they were filled correctly and
he still demolished the Indianapolis Colts. You could throw out the entire
first half and he would still have been the winning quarterback. That’s how
ridiculous this type of reporting is and as for the NFL, They have bigger
issues then this one.
In my business of Property Management in Anaheim Ca. I have
never heard any of my Tenants or Clients worry about Tom Brady’s deflated ball
and I’m sure most of the Country feels the same, but these so called sports
reporters will talk about the until it becomes a huge issue. What they really
want is for Brady to be suspended and with this NFL commissioner, he probably will
be.
The opening game this year on NBC will feature the Super Bowl
Champs and if Tom Brady is suspended, I wonder how NBC will feel about that.
