Patio seat covers
I have a perfectly good patio set, but the seat covers are
in very bad shape, so I have been in search of some new covers. I have been
surprised at the cost of new seat covers; it almost makes sense to buy a whole
new set. You would think something as simple as a seat cover would not be
difficult to find at a reasonable price but anything decent cost around $35 per
seat.
In getting ready for the summer, it is important to make
things nice without breaking the budget. I always like to look for sales for
the outside, since the exposure will always beat up the patio furniture and
next year I will be looking for more patio stuff.
In my business of Property Management in Anaheim Ca. I let
the Tenants in the homes I manage know when I find good deals on patio furniture
and other outdoor accessories. Being in Southern California, I am always
spending time outside, but the summer is extra nice and being comfortable is
very important, but being smart with the cash is also an important part of the
search for patio stuff.
Plants are also a huge part of the patio experience and
getting good deals is not always an easy task. Lowes sometimes puts plants that
they no longer want, in an area that is priced to sell, but I find that they do
it less and less. I love palms and plants that need little care and even though
beautiful flowers maker the yard look great, I am not very good at the upkeep
that flowered plants need, so I stick with the hardier plants. I also like the
gas powered fire pits, they are clean and much safer then the wood burning
pits. Yes, the wood does smell great, but the safety, especially in California
is important.
Getting your patio ready for summer can be fun and once it
is done, you can enjoy the fruits of your labor. Just be careful not to get
carried away or that patio oasis can cost you a king’s ransom.
