Our Business is Property Management in Orange County California
Communication for business is crucial
I have had a frustrating experience with Direct TV, which is
owned by ATT&T. I called for information regarding my account and had to
talk to a person in another Country. Every time this happens to me I get very
frustrated, but I am courteous to the person I am talking to because they are
just trying to earn a living, but I really get angry at the company that I am
doing business with. In this situation, It took two phone calls and I was
finally able to get to a person in New York and he solved the problem, But I
lost quite a bit of time and was very frustrated going through the process.
I really don’t think that frustrating your customers is good
for business and even though they may be saving money on labor, they may lose
money if the customer leaves the business because of the difficulty to get
issues solved.
In my business of Property Management in Orange County Ca. I
pride myself on customer service and my clients may not think about it, but I
know they feel very comfortable with being able to contact me anytime they have
a question or concern. To me it is much easier to solve problems quickly rather
than putting off the issues by avoiding the client all together and when I get
the run around from companies I think that is their goal to frustrate the
customer so much that the customer just gives up and puts up with the problem
they are having.
Property Management in Anaheim Ca.
Customer service seems only to be available with small
companies, although I do have pretty good service with Verizon I have to say.
Sometimes when I get the recording asking me all kinds of pre qualifying questions,
I find myself yelling at the computer generated voice. Actually if you yell
enough, the machine gets confused and transfers you to a real person, or just
hangs up on you.
It really is a shame that we put up with this type of
customer service, but I have to give credit where credit is due. I was in
Costco the other day and they did not have the product in stock that I was
looking for. I talked to a clerk and she found the product at another store,
but closing time was close. She said that if I check out now I should be able
to make it, but I Still needed a few items so she actually stood in line for me
while I picked out a few more items and I did make the other store in time to
pick up my item. Now that is great customer service.
